The Lake Wobegon Brass Band

The Lake Wobegon Brass Band is comprised of 30 members, principally educators and professional musicians. The band dates back to September of 1992 and the musicians have played on Prairie Home Companion shows, in Northern England and Scotland, and for schools, conventions, and festivals nationally and internationally. They perform marches, show tunes, pieces from the classic brass band literature, and commissioned works.

The Mahtomedi Music Faculty

Our talented music faculty delight in presenting a potpourri of musical selections from stage, screen, and folk traditions. Their aim is to raise funds for extra musical materials and experiences for their classes not covered by the school district, and for the Kelly Spaulding Scholarship Fund.

Peter Mayer

Minnesota's Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for over 20 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond. He writes songs about interconnectedness and the human journey as well as songs for children. In 2022 he was WAS's Composer in Residence at OH Anderson School, and the kids loved him.

At this concert, Ellie's son Rick Bruner, will be a guest performer and will open the concert. Rick performed during the 2009 Wildwood Artist Series Season.

This is a show for all ages.

An uplifting night featuring a cappella groups from Mahtomedi Middle School and High School, Carleton College, Macalester College, The University of Minnesota, The University of St Thomas, The North Star Chorus and The Lake Country Chorus. Don't miss a show which illustrates that singing can be a lifelong passion
