The five-time Parents’ Choice Award winners perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to get outside and get creative. Their captivating songs, composed while canoeing down the Mississippi, hiking the Appalachian Trail, riding horses in the Rocky Mountains, and having fun in the snow motivate kids to gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves.
Joe and Justin record and perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to step outside and get creative. Providing educational opportunities in the performing arts is a primary goal of the Wildwood Artist Series. We have done so by awarding performing arts scholarships and by setting up educational outreach programs in the schools where students learn directly from performers on our evening series. In 2017 JD Steele motivated 3rd – 5th grade students to find their “inner voice” and gave them an understanding of Black Gospel Choral style and culture.
