Magician/Illusionist, Vitaly – “An Evening of Wonders” – Friday, October 5, 2018 at 7:30 pm

Vitaly Beckman will present his highly imaginative and captivating performance, fresh from appearing in a one-man show on Broadway over the summer months. His interactive theatrical experience takes the audience on a magical journey which leads to a realization that our world is full of beauty and wonder. It’s a show perfect for all ages.

Billy McLaughlin – “Simple Gifts” – Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 3:00 pm

“Simple Gifts” is a truly meaningful Christmas event with modern arrangements of traditional hymns and carols performed by Billy on his acoustic-guitar, three-part harmony vocals, bagpipes, Celtic whistles, violin, piano, and percussion.

Mahtomedi Music Faculty Concert – Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:00 pm

The District 832 music faculty perform the gamut of musical styles and genres as they demonstrate their talents, both individually and collectively. Proceeds support the Kelly Spaulding Memorial Scholarships and school music programs.

The Barley Jacks – Bluegrass Music at its finest – Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 7:30 pm

The Barley Jacks are masters of the fiddle, guitar, bass and drum who meld their divergent backgrounds of blues and bluegrass, classical and Celtic, R & B and bebop to inspire each other and create something entirely new. An exciting and fun event.

All events are held at the Chautauqua Fine Arts Center, 8000 75th Street North, Mahtomedi.

Extra Concerts – not part of the Series

Gustafer Yellowgold – Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 4:00 pm

A funny and touching mutimedia concert of live songs, stories and animation presented by GRAMMYTM award winning Illustrator/ songwriter Morgan Taylor. Great for all ages. “Pleasantly surreal…ultra hip.”

The President’s Own United States Marine Band – Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm

Marine Band concerts offer a unique blend of traditional concert band and contemporary wind ensemble music which has thrilled audiences at the White House and across the United States for nearly two centuries.
•  Free Admission but tickets required.
•  This event is co-sponsored by St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church and will he held in the Sanctuary.

The Collegiate A Cappella Showcase – Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 7:00 pm

At least six male and female a cappella groups from local colleges and universities will share their entertaining and fun vocal repertoire with the audience.
