Minnesota's Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for over 20 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond.  He writes songs about interconnectedness and the human journey as well as songs for children.  In 2022 he was WAS's Composer in Residence at OH Anderson School, and the kids loved him.

At this concert, Ellie's son Rick Bruner, will be a guest performer and will open the concert.  Rick performed during the 2009 Wildwood Artist Series Season.

This is a show for all ages.

The Sing-along is a fundraiser for the Wildwood Artist Series of Mahtomedi.  Proceeds benefit programs supported by WAS such as the WAS Community Concert Series and the WAS Artist-in-Residency Program for Mahtomedi Public Schools.

Twin Cities song leader extraordinaire Dan Chouinard and St. Andrew’s own Bill Chouinard will entertain and delight the audience with fun and familiar Sing-Along songs for the crowd. Bring a friend or family member for a night of singing and fun!

Cash bar/food purchase will be available. Purchase tickets starting in March from any Wildwood Artist Series committee member or at the door that evening.

DANCE PARTY REUNION is a ‘re-staging’ of Buddy Holly’s 1959 WINTER DANCE PARTY, featuring music of Buddy’s co-stars, Ritchie Valens (“La Bamba”, performed by Allen Malicsi); Dion & the Belmonts (with Brian Pekol, singing “Teenager in Love”), The Big Bopper (“Chantilly Lace”, featuring Zach Spicer) and Frankie Sardo (“Fake Out”, featuring a local singer!).

A STELLAR TRIBUTE to the music of American rock and roll icon Buddy Holly , featuring original cast members (Nicholas Freeman, Blake Foster and Zach Spicer) from History Theatre’s IVEY-award-winning production of Buddy! If you purchased tickets for the 2020 performance, they will be valid for this new date. Your replacement tickets will be mailed to you. We have already sold enough tickets to this show for 50% capacity seating. If we are able to open up the Chautauqua Center to full capacity we will then sell the remaining tickets.

The five-time Parent’s choice Award winners perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to get outside and get creative. Their captivating songs while canoeing down the Mississippi River, hiking the Appalachian Trail, riding horses in the Rocky Mountains, and having fun in the snow, motivate kids to gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves.

Joe and Justin record and perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to step outside and get creative.
