Dan Perry's Ice Cream Band

The Ice Cream Band is a group of local musicians, one of whom is Julie Conzemius, choir teacher at Mahtomedi Middle School. The group performs a wonderful mix of songs from the 60s/70s as well as jazz, country, originals, and familiar songs the whole family can enjoy. Ice Cream will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the Chautauqua Fine Arts Center.
Net proceeds will be dedicated to the Chautauqua Fine Arts Center renovation.

Katie McMahon is best know for her exquisite soaring soprano solo on the original Riverdance single which topped the charts in Ireland for three months. Her voice is described by the Irish Times as "poetry, perfection, and purity." Now living in the Twin Cities, she has formed her own band and troupe of Irish dancers. They play Irish traditional music with a Classical edge and are in great demand all over the United States. Carina Mikulich Ellis, a 2003 graduate of Mahtomedi High School, is pursuing a Master of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She plays the piano and the flute. She will be joined by fellow graduate student and guitarist, Jessica Pistor. The duo, called “Fancy Hands,” play folk-rock - a combination of American folk tunes and originals. They may be joined by other musical friends from Duluth.
